This Fair Use Policy ensures that all users can enjoy reliable, high-quality service on LeadDeus.io. We enforce reasonable limits to prevent abuse, maintain platform performance, and protect our infrastructure.

Our goal is to support legitimate email outreach while preventing spam, fraud, and excessive resource consumption.

2. Acceptable Use

LeadDeus.io is designed for legitimate business communications, including:

  • B2B sales outreach to opted-in prospects
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) emails
  • Transactional and follow-up emails
  • Marketing campaigns to consented recipients
  • Partner and affiliate communications

3. Prohibited Use

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Spam and Unsolicited Emails

  • Sending emails to recipients without prior consent
  • Using purchased, rented, or scraped email lists
  • Sending bulk emails to non-opt-in contacts
  • Ignoring unsubscribe requests

3.2 Fraudulent or Deceptive Content

  • Phishing attempts or impersonation
  • False or misleading subject lines
  • Fake sender names or addresses
  • Pyramid schemes or get-rich-quick scams

3.3 Illegal or Harmful Content

  • Malware, viruses, or harmful attachments
  • Adult content or pornography
  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Weapons or explosives
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Intellectual property infringement

3.4 Platform Abuse

  • Attempting to bypass rate limits or quotas
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
  • Reverse-engineering or scraping the Platform
  • Sharing accounts with unauthorized users
  • Using bots or automated tools (except our API)

4. Fair Resource Usage

LeadDeus.io provides unlimited campaigns, leads, and email generation as part of your subscription. However, to ensure platform stability and fair access for all users, we monitor usage patterns and reserve the right to take action if abuse is detected.

4.1 Email Sending

  • Unlimited campaigns: Create and manage as many campaigns as needed
  • Unlimited leads: Upload and store leads without restrictions
  • Gmail account limits: Respect Google's sending limits (typically ~500 emails/day per account during warmup, increasing to 2,000+ for warmed accounts)
  • Batch processing: Bulk generation supports hundreds of campaigns simultaneously

4.2 AI Generation

  • Credit-based system: AI generation is subject to available credits in your account
  • Unlimited campaigns per batch: Generate emails for hundreds of campaigns at once
  • Processing in batches: Large requests are automatically split into manageable batches (10 emails per batch) for optimal performance

4.3 Platform Resources

We do not impose artificial limits on:

  • Number of campaigns
  • Number of leads per campaign or total
  • Number of Gmail/SMTP accounts
  • Storage for email templates
  • API requests (within reasonable usage)

Important: While we don't limit these features, we expect users to operate within reasonable bounds. Extreme abuse (e.g., using the platform to attack infrastructure, process millions of records per minute) may result in temporary throttling or investigation.

5. Bounce and Complaint Thresholds

To maintain good sender reputation and protect all users:

5.1 Bounce Rate

  • Acceptable: <5% hard bounces per campaign
  • Warning: 5-10% bounce rate (email to user)
  • Suspension: >10% bounce rate (manual review required)

5.2 Spam Complaints

  • Acceptable: <0.1% complaint rate
  • Warning: 0.1-0.3% (email to user)
  • Suspension: >0.3% (immediate investigation)

5.3 Unsubscribe Rate

  • Normal: <2% unsubscribe rate
  • Review: >5% (quality review of content and lists)

6. Warmup Requirements

When connecting new Gmail accounts, we strongly recommend:

  • Starting with 10-20 emails/day for the first week
  • Gradually increasing by 20-30% per week
  • Using our built-in warmup feature
  • Monitoring bounce and complaint rates closely

Warning: Sending high volumes immediately may result in Gmail account suspension.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

7.1 Automated Monitoring

We automatically monitor:

  • Bounce rates and spam complaints
  • Email content for spam keywords
  • Sending patterns and volumes
  • Recipient engagement (open, click rates)
  • API usage and rate limit violations

7.2 Manual Review

We may manually review accounts that:

  • Trigger automated alerts
  • Receive spam complaints
  • Show unusual activity patterns
  • Are reported by other users or ISPs

7.3 Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity of the violation:

  • Warning: Email notification with corrective actions
  • Rate limiting: Temporary reduction in sending limits
  • Campaign pause: Specific campaigns suspended
  • Account suspension: Temporary suspension (1-30 days)
  • Account termination: Permanent ban for severe violations

8. Appeals Process

If your account is suspended or limited:

  • You will receive an email explaining the reason
  • You can appeal by emailing support@leaddeus.io
  • Include: account details, explanation, corrective actions taken
  • We will review within 2-5 business days
  • Decisions are final but may be reconsidered with new evidence

9. Best Practices

To avoid triggering limits:

9.1 List Hygiene

  • Remove hard bounces immediately
  • Regularly clean inactive contacts
  • Use double opt-in for new subscribers
  • Verify email addresses before import

9.2 Content Quality

  • Use clear, honest subject lines
  • Include your real name and company
  • Add a functional unsubscribe link
  • Avoid spam trigger words (FREE, ACT NOW, etc.)
  • Balance text and images

9.3 Engagement

  • Send relevant content to engaged segments
  • Remove non-engaged contacts after 6 months
  • Monitor open and click rates
  • A/B test subject lines and content

10. Reporting Abuse

If you believe another user is violating this policy:

  • Report to: abuse@leaddeus.io
  • Include: full email headers, screenshots, description
  • We investigate all reports within 48 hours
  • Reporters remain confidential

11. Updates to This Policy

  • We may update this Fair Use Policy as needed
  • Changes will be notified via email or Platform notification
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
